There are a variety of tests that we may perform to determine the reason for infertility. A reproductive expert will first take a detailed medical history and determine what tests are required. Many of these tests are costly and may or may not reveal the cause of infertility or even lead us to a remedy. Some of the following basic tests are required to establish the cause of infertility and prescribe the most appropriate way of infertility therapy for each couple.
